Kenan:Most of my friends are atheist. Some of my very best friends and bandmates are devout Christians. Depending on their personality we either have very meaningful talks about the naure of spirituality or I just avoid the topic of religion altogether because I want to spare their feelings. All of my Christian friends know I am an atheist. I still love them and would do anything for them. Just because I believe the religion is false doesn't mean I think they are bad people. In most cases it's quite the opposite. My drummers mother is one of the most devout people I know, and she has shown me infinite kindness, grace and generosity in the years I've known her. I'm quite grateful for the love she's shown me.

However, this does not make the bible any more true. My atheist friends have shown me just as much kindness and generosity. I myself strive to be a trustworthy and selfless friend.

I don't think religion is necessary for morality. Their are many instances in the bible where gods judgement conflicts with what I believe to be the right thing to do.

Anyway, to specifically answer your question Levi, I love everyone. Regardless of sexual orientation, religion, skin color, whatver. I just don't believe anything in religion is true "fact". Because of the evidence presented to me throughout my life I have come to the conclusion that god is not real. Because of the anecdotes provided to me by the bible and other religious texts I have also come to the conclusion that if god were real, he is a character of questionable morality and I would not worship him anyway.

I never took a side in the argument or stated any kind argument toward the topic. I don't care to read his argument because I don't care about this article in general. It's a dumb argument. And if Max wants to troll people by trying to bash their personal beliefs then good for him. For someone who doesn't know him and doesn't know that he is just trolling...he comes off as a douche.
