General Lockerz Thread

    Saw that a few people were interested in this site, so I thought I would go ahead and create a separate thread explaining what it is.

    Well, I'll give you the lowdown on Lockerz for you.

    It's an invite only site. The only way to get in is to receive an invite to it by another member (if anyone wants one, hit me up). You earn points by logging in, inviting friends, answering one question daily, and watching videos and playing games. You earn two points every day when you log in, when you answer questions, invite a friend, and watch a video. Once you have invited 20 friends, and they accept the invite, your status changes to "Z-Lister." This means that your points double for everything and you receive a free tee shirt, which I got on Friday. Now, you can redeem these points once a month, every month (until they come out of beta version). The prizes vary from, iMacs, mac books, iPods and video games of all consoles to snowboards, skateboards, and paypal cards. Now, to your question. How do they make the money to do this? The owner of Lockerz is the ex-owner of Amazon.com and another website which escapes my train of thought. They are sponsored by Apple, FLiP, Amazon.com, and other huge corporations. Why do they receive these sponsorships? They are giving away their items for free which is ultimately a HUGE advertising potential. Plus, on each of the videos, are advertisements for things like Direct TV and Lysol. I've included some pictures of the redemption page for a brief idea of what you can get.

    I have about 350 points but the redemption system is so shitty that I haven't bothered. They have bad servers that can't handle the traffic and you basically have to get lucky to get anything.

    Yes. Indeed it does. I questioned it myself. But everything else seems to be evenly and reasonably priced.

    This will be my first attempt at a redemption. I purchased Waves 2 and 3 for this time.

    It's a lot more than you think. Takes forever. But yes, free stuff is given if you stay constant with th site.

    Yes, this is completely free. They don't even ask for money/credit/debit card. It's just a tad time consuming, but I believe the end result is well worth it.

    He is talking about Amway Global, three of my friends have gotten scammed into working for them, tried to get me to do the same. I went to one seminar and smelled the bullshit as soon as I walked in. You convince all your family and friends to buy online products from Amway using your personal special code you give your family and friends and Amway pays you a percentage of the profit to do this. Because basically to earn any money at all you have to walk around being a billboard for hours upon hours per day for all these corporations.

    It's so funny seeing stupid mindless droids working for the system perfectly. Company uses you, you become a walking billboard, they throw stuff at you because it's such an insignificant prize to them compared to the advertisement you're giving them, and you think you're the one winning.

    Guest only uses guest account because deep down inside he wants that iPod Touch, but has been trolled over the past few months by Lockerz members who have created "LOCKERZ IS A SCAM" websites when in all actuality they've been using Lockerz from the start and have used these websites to ward people off to increase their chances of getting prizes during redemption.

    Well, since you JUST became a member, I don't think you really have anything to worry about this redemption, unless you want to get a video game or something? Not to sure how many points you've accumulated.

    Anyways. On Friday, February 26th, they will be hosting a general redemption for all Lockerz Members. In the past months, the EXACT time has been kept secret. But NOW they are trying something new. If you had joined a while back, you would have been able to buy into a pre-general redemption. This consists of 3 Waves. First wave begins at 6 and runs until 7. Next wave is 8-9 and the last wave is from 10-11. This will take place on the 25th...a day before the general redemption. For all three waves, it would've cost you 350 points, for two waves 250, and for one wave, 100. I bought two waves, which are the second and last waves.

    You have to be quick, and you need to utilize your F5 button very efficiently. Shit will run out fast, so be quick.
