What is the cause?

Garrett and I heard this Sepheroth band the other night. From where I was they sounded pretty good.

@mis1/Garrett: the cause is a girl named Kareen Soto (that's what it looks like to me on the flyer) who had a liver transplant at Duke that will cost her parents, legal Venezuelan immigrants (in case that matters to yall), a metric ass-ton of money. She has a disease which I cannot remember the name of that causes deterioration of her liver, so this transplant may even only be a temporary fix.

@Garrett: bud is donating shirts for of-age bands and patrons. Members of HBC apparently work at FYE so they have a lot of initials to remember, and are doing in-store and online promotion for this benefit

she had liver disease, and a budweiser logo is on the flyer? why?

while i can see the irony, i think theyre going through every avenue they can to get support for this, as even the smallest gestures contribute. budweiser isnt making any money off this at least

how about instead of donating shirts that promote their company you folks ask them to just pitch in a hundred bucks or so.
Waste of a 'sponsor' - at that point anyone that pays to get in is doing more good than they are.

never heard of either and i dont believe josh is in them.

i don't care either way. josh was a nice guy to me every time i've chatted with him, and i knew him in high school through an ex. I was just putting out there that perhaps one should chat up the gent on the receiving end of accusations before believing them.
