    i said IMO, math.

  1.
I want to know who else he's thinking of from UF that was a great player or even serviceable as a pro? Percy? He just finished his first year...

I think he's confusing UF with the other Florida school that ACTUALLY produces quality professional/HOF caliber talent for the last 30 years...THE U!!!!
  2.
well florida really wasn't a perennial power until the 90's.
Steve Spurrier was the only real notable gator until the 90's.
There are only 4 gators in the CHOF until emmitt smith.
    half of their
17 players out of 22 from their "100 year team" played in the 90's or 00's
So there are some reasons why there arent more nfl greats from florida.
  3.
And the U is really no different...take away the great talent of the 80's add in the NCAA sanctions of the mid 90's and there are still more great players coming out of the U then Florida. As of right now UM has two active NFL players that are HOF locks (Ray Lewis and Ed Reed) two possibe HOF who are currently retired (Warren Sapp and Edgerine James) and atleast two more active players who have a shot if they keep it up (Reggie Wayne and Andres Johnson). Florida players haven't even sniffed that level
of play in the NFL outside of Emmitt.
  4.
I agree. U of M has produced more pro superstars than U of F.

Poor Jake. He'll probably lose all those sweet Bojangles endorsements, too.

my bad on the panthers and the first round. i was thinking of how they are kind of in the position to where they really need a first round quality pick. sucks for them; hopefully they have a buttload of second and third round picks.

but to tebow again, like i said earlier, my personal opinion is that the kid is an insane athlete. despite his questions at QB, which are legit questions but overall minor, you can't ignore the fact that he is a straight up a beast. that stance alone is why i still think he won't be around in the second round. you can question the system he played in, his throwing motion, whatever...but you also can't ignore the fact that the kid produced wins. Florida is a big school no doubt with a crap ton of talent around him, but so is the entire SEC. He always seemed fired up and ready to just play football. i'm sure he'll need a year or two to get the NFL game under his wing, but i think he'll do just fine.

but...it's about time Jake was gone. i've always said he would make a great, great back up. but as a starter was just too inconsistent.

tebow's knee will be the one snapping pesky little ankle biting corners heads off.
  6.
How is release time a minor question? It's the only thing that has kept Romo as good as he is.

You make me hate Tebow more. Which I thought was impossible. He's the Tyler Hansborough of football.

Hansborough isn't doing THAT bad in the NBA though

You're right. Darrelle Revis and Charles Woodson aren't even in Tebow's league. They won't have a chance.

My friend's dad recently talked to Thomas Davis in Charlotte and Davis said to expect a lot of changes. So far, that is true....interested to see what else happens.

All the free agents I wanted to pick up are now taken. So...no clue what is going to happen.

Starting your own team? I want in. I want to sack a QB. I want to catch a really long throw and take it in for a TD. I want to run a kickoff back for a TD. I want to run a punt back for a TD. I want to rush for 99 yards to score a TD.
And all in the same game. And I dont want to get tackled. Make it happen and I'll also join your team. And I only want $8M per year.

Im not really a stickler on that. NOT 69. As long it isnt that number I'll be ok with it. I dont want to be that chode wearing '69' on their jersey.

Pfft! I haven't seen a QB lay a hit on a blitzer from inside the pocket ever. Also Revis and Woodson aren't blitzing corners they are shut down corners. Your scenario makes no sense... Open field hits maybe, but that's assuming he has the speed to turn the corner in the NFL, which he doesn't, DE and OLB's will be shutting him down all day.

    Guest fail.

im not sure tebow would a be good nfl type qb. maybe a bigger blocking back or tight end. hes got size and athletic ability but these nfl defenses are too quick and too smart for someone who is not the best passer to be throwing against.

moore is gonna be carolinas qb for sure. idk all the other changes that have been going on, but its gonna be a different team. hope it works or fox might be the next to leave charlotte.
