    And?
  1.
Yeah Garrett I see what you're saying, I think I worded it wrong, I'm just saying money can always be regathered and we are blessed to not be struggling very much unlike alot of people in this economy.

I've been searching for a part time job for a while now, put in 20+ applications at various places. If David hadn't of stolen my job in the first place..

    Garrett:And?

and it's funny. You get all high and mighty about the fact that you have a job and make your own money and kick dirt on people who don't but in reality there are quite a few things that you get a free ride on. I'm not jocking you. I'd do the same thing if i had had the opportunity but It's just funny hearing you jock other people when you're in the same boat really. And to your earlier post it more than just you not paying rent.

and im not trying to be high and mighty, i never said i was better than anyone cause of the job i have or the money i may or may not make. I HAVE said that i was happy for my job and the money i make though.

andy - i look forward to it.

garrett you might not have said it exactly like that but you do talk about how much money you have quite a bit and you talk down to others for not having jobs quite a bit. Just do a simple search with the word money on this site and see, just look at this thread. While yes you have a good job and i'm stoked for that one of the big reasons you have as much as you do is because you have no living expenses (rent, utilities, food, furnishings, cleaning supplies, upkeep, etc.....).

like i've said a million times good for you if you can do that but man i'd like to make a comparison on this so you understand how this sounds to everyone else.

You talking about how excited you are about having possesions and money, etc... on here is like brad talking about getting trashed or girls on facebook. I'm going to copy your approach to that situation going forward. This is an intervention and for your own good. I'm doing this because i love you.

My luck with buying bicycles of craigslist. A few months ago i found a nice bike on CL in raleigh. emailed the guy, decided a meeting point/time. 5 mins out of raleigh got a text saying "sold the bike, sorry". there is an awesome deal on a raleigh on CL right now. emailed the guy, he said he'd call me at 3. never called/never returned my email. i was so stoked waking up and now so bummed. i have the worst luck on craigslist.

I see what he did there, now.

Good call Justin. Aaron, I no longer wish you good health because it's considered 'backpedaling'.

But in all seriousness, that stuff is nasty.

I do a lot of different things in my job but the reason I am on call this coming week is because I help support a piece of in house software that we use for item/retail hosting, ordering, receiving, payment and AP reconciliation, reporting etc.... We have on call rotation to handle all IT system issues and user process issues and because we have different parts of the business using it 24/7.

I also am on call every fiscal period close for AP/finance issues and because i'm salary and have the job i have I'm technically always sort of on call.

no complaining here though because i really enjoy what i do.

I'm definitely thankful I have a job. Don't get me wrong. But with full-time school, internships, and basically a full-time job as an assistant manager and server, it'd be nice to have a small break. But I requested off this Tuesday and Wednesday so I can continue on with my yearly holiday tradition of watching the entire extended edition of Lord of the Rings and all extended specials from my box set.
