    sheetz food is totally gross. i rather eat my kids placenta. the one that he was born connected to. and he's 5 now so it's extra gross.

    thanks. i try my best to cook vegan but my boy likes mac and cheese. i've tried vegan mac and cheese but he won't touch it.

    Do baked mac and cheese. Boil shells, mix it with a container of better than cream cheese, and a little garlic and paprika and soy milk (make sure it is unflavored). If you want to be gangster sprinkle some shredded fyh cheese on top and bread crumbs. I cook it for my bf and and friends sometimes and they have always liked it. I am sure it would probably be good too with some cooked and diced tofurkey sausages or gimme lean hotdogs.

    or just order cheddar flavored teese from online. It ships really well and tastes just like the cheese from the kraft shells packets.

    I would really recommend ordering it and trying it out. It is the best vegan cheese available for sure. I am pretty sure you can special order teese in bulk from whole foods and earthfare and they will give you some % off.

    Just sprinkle bread crumbs on top and its done when they are dark brown. 20-30 mins at 350.

    i know Wholefoods doesn't carry it but i don't think Earth fare does either. You and all your friends should flood them with requests though if you want it.

    there is a coop in asheville that carries it. but that drive is like driving to another state. There are 2 places in va beach that carry it too but why would you ever go there....

    im stoked on last night/this morning.
    it was like 2003 all over again
    -eating mexican with a decent sized group (8 last night) and then talking from approx 8:30pm-1:30am. It just ruled.
    Seeing some folks I havent seen lately/often:

    I want to try this.
    I'm really happy for all the conversations about eating and cooking.
    It makes me hungry and want to get on the ball with learning new recipes.

    I'm happy that my disposable camera is almost ready to be developed. I've had a pretty terrific summer so far.

    its a bummer i'm leaving tomorrow. the days just flew on by. next time i'll be in north carolina i'll be married, which will rule because she'll witness the greatness of north carolina.

    i can't wait for the north carolina reunion in california...it makes me happy knowing i have friends who would fly across the country to be part of my wedding.

    friends rule hard!

    man - so last night there was this dude named Wade.
    Ole Wade drove up in a early 90s model Ford Ranger and asked 'whos the porsche guy?'
    so we say 'oh, erik' and erik raises his hand or something
    Wade begins to say 'ive got two 914s i need to liquidate....' etc etc etc
    so dude is talking about needing to get rid of these etc to erik and then erik says 'ok, when can i come look at them?'
    and dude replied 'oh, YOU are interested? well we'll have to talk about it' and then suddenly he'd need to talk to his brother about selling them.

    Wade left. and then came back.
    both times it was hilarious and awkward. both times it ruled hard.

    me and my dad have been remodeling the familys home the last couple of weeks, and today we installed a new sliding glass door by ourselves. weve already pulled up all the carpet and linoleum for wood floor, and are about to tear the wood paneling off the walls in the living room.

    My region has gotten a bunch or requests from customers for fresh vegan donuts in our bakery depts. They did a test batch to see what they could come up with. Josh is the only vegan that works in the office so i got a full dozen. I'm hoping for a sugar coma by 2pm.

    donuts are SO good. I bought 2 donut pans a few months ago and they are definitely my favorite vegan item to bake. The amount of sugar in them, and the glaze (I do glazed) is absolutely amazing.

    dude i work at the office that does the design work for Krispy Kreme. i am almost donut-ed out. we get the leftovers from all the photo shoots and all that jazz. it's not vegan, but you were talking about sugar comas and i've gotten one or two since i started here.
