bang for the buck I couldnt beat the kawi
i couldve gotten a honda 100 for about 600 bucks cheaper, but it had drum brakes front and rear, less power, and wasnt made for a larger rider. This is made for a larger rider, disk brakes, and 2 more hp. OH, and the the Honda was kickstart, this is electric start.
Biggest thing was suspension, im not a small dude and a lot of these small bikes are made for 120 lb riders

im happy that today is thursday, i have tomorrow off

and josh - youre rihgt, it was good times

Im honestly surprised you didnt get anything bigger. Not calling you fat, but I forgot how big a 140 actually is and didn't think it was for a grown man. How tall off the ground is it?

youre right, most grown men would go for a larger bike (230-250 minimum), but this is mainly just a pit bike. yeah, i dropped a few thousand bucks to ride around the pits at the race track.
i do plan on hitting some woods/trails etc, and it will be fine for that, but if i got really into offroading it wouldnt hold up as well.

plus space is an issue, i will be using a single bike enclosed trailer, free space inside once the racebike is in will be very limited.

as far as ground clearance - i think its 10"
but the L version (like what I have) is designed for heavier people/more serious duty stuff, it has the larger wheels and a really trick rear shock with lots of adjusting. Its not as squishy as the standard models.

I need to buy a helmet, still looking at those, but I'll try to go somewhere offroad in a week or so and try this thing out and learn how to ride a bike off of the pavement haha

Fourth of July made me really happy. Although I worked a double, I got to hang out at the car show in downtown Winston between shifts. (Rockabilly ladies are sooo pretty!) I spent some time drinking iced coffee and people watching at Single Brothers, the new bar on Trade Street run by the same people that do the Werehouse. Then because work was dead everyone stood around goofing off so that was fun. Afterward, I went to a small party with good people that involved fireworks (duh) and dancing.

I received my amp via Fedex friday night. That made me super happy. What didn't make me happy was the fact that the channel one button on the footswitch does not work. Im not sure how bad this will suck.

    5. It's one of the BigFoot pedals for the dual rectifier. Channel one wont work on the footswitch. Plays fine on the amp, just doesnt work on the footswitch.

Guitar center Greensboro doesn't carry mesa boogie. They aren't a dealer. Neither are yesterday's music.

New friends who just moved to town, old friends visiting from out of town, and rediscovering old friends who never left. Those things have been making me happy for the past few weeks.

Being better than them and winning a little money makes me happy as well.

similar circumstance, my cousin's birthday is on the fifth and this was in mid-celebration of his new potentially life-threatening gift.

signed a lease on a house today. having a fenced in back yard for the dogs again and not being on the 3rd floor are huge pluses with a pregnant wife.
