maple glazed is just that-a maple flavored glaze. Have you ever had maple and brown sugar oatmeal? it tastes exactly like that.

i sorta hate to even write this - but being a jerk. yeah, that makes me a littlebit happy.
heres the deal - i've been in sales pretty much my whole working life.
be it retail or outside sales, its 80% of what i've done. I've dealt with some super awesome people in all of this time, i've also dealt with jerks.

one thing that was a positive about buying a car (back in december) was that I didnt have to suck it up and deal with people I didnt like. If i didnt like what I was hearing then Id say 'thanks for your time, this isnt going to work out' and id exit the dealership. it felt good, im not going to lie.

so now Im back in the hunt, this time for a trailer for my dragbike.
Well I roll by GGT trailers in Concord and spend half an hour with Squire and we look at some trailers and options etc and we sit down and talk about what Im wanting etc. I ask him to get me prices and curb weights on several different models. I gave him 5 business days. Never heard anything back. Screw that dude, I'll use his words/wisdom and just go to another sales rep there. And thats what I did. And I tol Mike: i'll give you three or four days, if i dont hear back I'll just find another sales rep there.
Just feels kind of good to be in control and have that power, not have to take some BS. Im not a hard person to deal with, just get me the answers I need and we'll be straight. Squire must not be very hungry, if thats the case then he needs to get out of sales.

Today, I drove to Raleigh and played my drums for the first time in 14 months and what's only been maybe the 10th time since spring of 07'. Long overdue but still great for that matter. Now I get to start making trips up with the purpose of writing new material. So happy.

If those are the same taco flavored doritos that come with the chipotle ranch in the collisions bag, then i second that.

tonight was so much fun

Kenan:blue ridge parkway is excellent, and going to chateau morrisette with my mom and brother to eat was great.

The Château Morrisette is a great place to eat.

The only problem I had during the 469 Mile trek down the Parkway was the fact that they didn't have any gas stations. Had to go into a few sketchy towns to get gas.

Never go to Cherokee, NC. That place has gone to hell.

Oh, and being back in Asheboro is also nice.

but getting paid well for it makes me happy enough to keep coming back

currently making me happy is the fact that i woke up and smelled smoke and fire, ran out into the living room and saw that i left my snakes heat lamp face down on a counter top last night when i was handling him, and i forgot to switch it off or reattach it. so there it sat when it automatically cut on @ 930 am. im glad that i woke up before i burned the house down.



currently making me unhappy is the fact that i am such a dumbass i almost burned my house down, and it smells like shit in here. and there is a big black charred spot on the countertop.
